If you are enrolled in an approved program of study in 2011 you do not need to apply for registration as a student. Education providers will pass on your details directly to the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia for registration. No fees are required.
From March 2011, all students enrolled in an approved nursing or midwifery program of study who are not currently registered, will be included in the national scheme.
The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia will register you for the duration of study or clinical training, or until you are no longer enrolled in an approved program of study.
