Call for applications – Tasmanian Board of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia

We are seeking individuals with an ability and interest to contribute to the regulatory work of the State Board. Practitioners will bring sound experience in the nursing and/or midwifery professions.

Applications are now sought from registered nurses, registered midwives and enrolled nurses to fill two practitioner member vacancies (including Chair*) arising on the Tasmanian Board of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.

*Practitioner member applicants may express interest in the role of Chair; however, this is not mandatory.

The State Board works in partnership with Ahpra to make registration and notification (complaint) decisions about individual practitioners, based on national policies and standards set by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
