The Board is seeking parties to review the National Competency Standards for Nurse Practitioners.
Since the development of competency standards for the nurse practitioner there have been significant developments in the role of the nurse practitioner. The move to a national system of regulation of health practitioners provides a catalyst for a review of the competency standards.
