Draft revised Safety and quality framework for midwives

The National Board is publicly consulting on a draft revised Safety and quality framework for midwives.

The proposed framework replaces the existing Board-approved Safety and quality framework for privately practising midwives attending homebirths available under Codes and guidelines on the National Board website.

The proposed document supports regulatory accountability for safe and professional midwifery practice for all midwives.
