Tribunal reprimands former nurse

27 Nov 2019

A tribunal has reprimanded a former enrolled nurse for professional misconduct concerning theft.

The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (tribunal) found that a former enrolled nurse, QFZ, engaged in professional misconduct in that he was convicted of multiple counts of theft and obtaining property by deception. The conduct behind the convictions involved thefts from residents of the aged care facility at which QFZ was employed.

The tribunal reprimanded QFZ in relation to his conduct. There were mitigating circumstances that the tribunal took into account in making its decision to reprimand QFZ, the details of which cannot be published.

No written decision will be published by the tribunal.
